A THOUGHT ON CHANGE

"Any day we wish, we can discipline ourselves to change it all. Any day we wish, we can open the book that will open our mind to new knowledge. Any day we wish, we can start a new activity. Any day we wish, we can start the process of life change. We can do it immediately, or next week, or next month or next year. We can also do nothing, we can pretend rather than perform and if the idea of having to change ourselves make us uncomfortable, we can remain as we are". Jim Rohn.

Change they say, is the only constant thing in life. Change is good! If you are frustrated with your current situation, the only way to improve is to change. Are you ready to create change in your life today? Change requires a lot of things but the most important of it all is letting go of what we've always known and done to create space for something new. Most people experience a change in their life while some don't, it's not that some people have willpower and some don't. Its that some people are ready to change and others are not. Whether it's getting a new life or better attitude, or stop drinking or smoking habit, or getting a better job, whatever it is you want to change, it won't happen until you are truly ready to accept it.

We are all capable of achieving our dreams, no matter how high they are if only we are ready to live our dreams despite the obstacles and failures that we encounter. I believe you have the power to change your life, you have the strength to keep trying to achieve your dreams, It's all in you.

According to Preston Bradly " I've never met a person, I don't care what his condition is, In whom I could not see possibilities. I don't care how much a man may consider himself a failure. I believe in him, for he can change the things that are wrong in his life anytime he is prepared and ready to do it. Whenever he develops the desire, he can take away from his life the thing that is defeating it. The capacity for reformation and change lies within" like I said earlier, "its all in you."

No matter the kind of situation you find yourself, you can still do better. Change does not have to be something big, it could be as little as taking a 10mins walk in a day or eating more fruit or drinking more water to improve your health. Whatever you choose, it's important to take baby steps, so my question for you is; Are you ready to accept changes to make your life better?

  2. Change can be so hard. I always tell myself, I'll do it tomorrow. One thing that is really helping me now is writing a to-do list each day to keep myself motivated and on the right path to achieving my goals.

  3. These are reminders that I think everyone needs. So often, we talk about change, but then do nothing. We make excuses. And let time go by while we pine for a change and remain the same.

  4. Loved reading this Biola. Change isn't always easy but it will happen, regardless of whether we want it too or not. How we handle change is what's really important at the end of the day

  5. Yeah, for sure change can be scary... I think that the only truthful way there is for us to grow as human beings is to embrace change and not be scared of it - I know this is easier said than done, but as long as we keep the right attitude and as you said take baby steps, we can achieve it!

  7. You can definitely do better if you have the right mind set and if you constantly push yourself towards achieving your goals. If you don't like something about yourself, then change it, that is so true!

  8. I couldn't agree more with you. Change is a process - not a single action. I lost 60 pounds with baby steps. First, more steps per day. Then tracking my food. Next, working out...

  9. I think you should embrace change no matter what. There is not point resisting, it is vain. So embrace it and make the most of it. Improving your life is a solution. Growing your business goes through change too

  21. I loved all the quotes in this post! I totally agree with every single one of them. Change is good and it's normal and we should all be opened to changes and to trying new things to better our life and routine. Do more of things that scare you! I think it goes something like this, one of my favorite quotes and it's so true! We are always playing it safe and we aren't aware of what we can achieve and how can we turn our life better with the change!
